Letters from the Editors: A Statement of Independence

Dear Reader,

First and foremost, we would like to wish you all a happy holiday and a safe new year. We’ve been hard at work over the winter session formulating our next steps as an organization.

The Hofstra Clocktower is dedicated to telling stories that matter, holding people and institutions in power accountable and serving as a watchdog for the Hofstra community. We are student-run and fully independent from the University and any of its other student organizations or campus media outlets -- both editorially and financially. Thank you to our founding members, our staffers, and our readers for supporting us thus far. We cannot wait to begin this next chapter and continue to produce hard-hitting coverage during this new year.
